The first record of the North Americal crayfish Orconectes limosus in Belarus (River Shlyamitsa, a tributary of Neman, June of 1997) is reported. Possible ecological impacts of the species for Belarusian waterbodies are discussed. A new locality of Orconectes limosus is reported. This invasive crayfish was found in the River Kolonka at the territory of the National Park Belovezhskaya Puscha .
